Job Requirements

Successful employees will maintain professionalism at all times, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be productive and quality focused, and observe safety & security procedures.


  • 1+ years of experience of related industrial experience, preferably from an adhesive, chemical or manufacturing environment. 

  • High School diploma or equivalent training or experience.

  • Above average PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office products and windows-based software.

  • Experience working with ERP Systems and/or shipping and receiving software. 

  • Must be meticulous with above average detail orientation, accuracy and follow-through.

  • Ability to be self-directed and individually resourceful, working independently but also within the fast paced office/production environment.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.

  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding company.

    Receives material into the facility, moves material to proper locations, and properly prepares company’s finished products for transportation while meeting the customer’s order requirements and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Preps and stages material for shipping. Wrap and/or band pallets manually or with palletizer. Responsible for ensuring all shipments are accurate, verifying product number, weights, quantity against pick list. Prep shipments for secure transport to help prevent damage in transit.
  • Material handling to restock materials received.
  • Load and unload freight including offloading of molten and bulk oil materials.
  • Monitoring and organizing inventory.
  • Receive incoming material into Sage.
  • Inform Operations Manager, Quality Control and Production Manager of any material discrepancies.
  • Confirm count on boxes/bags/bins/totes/drums received and match count with bill of materials and purchase orders. Match Lot numbers of materials received to approved COA’s. Receive and unload freight either manually or with forklifts. Check for damaged goods; verify quantity and quality of orders.
  • Responsible for the proper labeling, line clearance and stowing of finished goods in an organized and timely fashion. Palletize, band, wrap prior to stowing finished goods.
  • Confirm request from customers are accomplished. These may include: (M)SDS, COA, NAFTA, commercial invoices, and special labeling requirements.
  • Confirm that the customer’s method of shipping finished products conforms to customer’s requirements.
  • Properly fill out all necessary paperwork for shipping including UPS, FedEx, LTL bill of lading, and packing slip.
  • Warehouse and ship orders that are scheduled for a specific shipping date.
  • Ensure customer order packing slips and Bill of Ladings are correct and filed accordingly.
  • Responsible for offloading of molten and bulk materials.
  • Verification of raw material selection, sequencing of raw materials against batch sheet and proper loading of materials into production equipment.
  • Conform to all quality and safety procedures.
  • Works with Quality Control to ensure that COA’s and (M)SDS’s are filed appropriately.
  • Responsible for maintaining 5S in assigned areas.
  • Support coworkers in various roles
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean facility, including scrubbing and scraping floors, disposal of garbage and recyclables, sweeping, cleaning machinery and finished surfaces, and shelving products and raw materials as necessary.
  • Assist production operators with staging and prepping of materials, cleanup, and fill in as back up on production lines during vacations and absenteeism.
  • Backup role to verification of raw material selection, sequencing of raw materials against batch sheet and proper loading of materials into production equipment.
  • Cross train on all production equipment.
  • Assist in project/improvement work.
