We are a global corporation, specializing in the distribution, manufacturing (Resinlab) and custom filling (KitPackers) of adhesives, specialty chemicals and equipment. Currently we have an Inventory Clerk opportunity at KitPackers Resinlab, in our NEW state of the art facility, located in Germantown, WI. Compiles with records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.

• Monitor and maintain the physical inventory for accuracy both in the warehouse and within the computer system.

• Using computer system and pick lists, is able to accurately pick all items required for a production or transfer order. Also pick all required items for out-side service providers.

• Compiles stock control records and information; conducts regular cycle count inventories, posts results and prepares variance report for management.

• Returns all items to the proper warehouse location sent back from production areas and outside service providers.

• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock; prepares required documentation for scrapped chemicals and may be required to dispose of same.

• Maintain clean warehouse & clutter free aisles; place all items in racking according to use turns & size requirements.

• Create scrap tickets and move scrap material to the appropriate waste stream location; work with the production area on appropriate scrap status after a job completes.

• Conform to all quality and safety related procedures.

• Back up for the Receiving and Shipping Clerks.

Job Requirements

Successful employees will be maintain professionalism at all times, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be productive and quality focused, and observe safety & security procedures.

• 3+ years of experience of inventory or related industrial experience, preferably from a custom adhesive, chemical or paint manufacturing or packaging/filling environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED.)
• Above average PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office products and windows-based software.
• Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably Microsoft Navision.
• Must be meticulous with above average detail orientation, accuracy and follow-through.
• Ability to be self-directed and individually resourceful, working independently but also within the fast paced office/production environment.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding company.
