Ellsworth Adhesives offers an exciting career building opportunity as a Distribution Center Associate at its Germantown, WI location.

Responsible for a variety of warehousing and distribution center activities ranging from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities may include inventory control, expediting, order preparation, hazardous shipment packing and documentation order processing. Must perform well in a team environment and possess a strong bias toward customer service. Is able to balance accuracy and job function with an appropriate sense of urgency in a metric environment with shared Team goals. Successful teammates will have effective communication and interpersonal skills along with both the attitude and aptitude to successfully perform the following duties and responsibilities.

In this position you will accurately receive product from a variety of vendors into WMS inventory using a wireless handheld RF scanner and consults receiving documents during task completion, unload carriers and separate material for receipts, perform put away process and able to effectively balance between receiving and put away in a self-directed Team environment; pick orders in an RF environment as a member of a larger Team; able to prioritize available picking tickets based on Team communication and downstream processing opportunities; package sales orders for shipping to Customers in conjunction with a manifest and WMS system; accurately assess order requirements and consistently fulfill them including, but not limited to creating Customer labels and applying necessary package markings; provide a positive “Ellsworth” experience to both internal and external customers in every part of the Distribution Center process.

Job Requirements

Successful employees will have good use of judgment, strong communication skills, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be dependable, able to work well with a team and take initiative. Candidates for this position should have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED) and less than a year of warehouse experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferably. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent at the discretion of Human Resources and the hiring Manager.
