Ellsworth Adhesives offers an exciting career opportunity as a Dispensing Equipment and Automation Specialist. Drive your career in industrial sales through servicing, developing and growing new and existing customers and markets in your own territory. Partner with top manufacturers through cutting edge problem solving and solution selling.
The Dispensing Equipment and Automation Specialist is responsible for acquiring new customers and new business opportunities. The work begins with evaluating the market, developing leads, contacting prospects, making appointments, and determining application opportunities. Next, the sales professional audits the prospect’s operations, considers alternatives, prepares professional proposals and/or quotes, makes winning presentations, and gains commitment from the customer. Finally, the sales professional takes personal responsibility for the care of the customer through coordination of all parties participating in the relationship. The successful sales professional is always striving to expand their contact database and his/her technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

Successful employees have excellent communication and presentation skills, are self-motivated, high-energy, resourceful and organized. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or in a technical discipline; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degrees are preferred; and a minimum of 3 years of industrial sales experience. Experience in industrial distribution, dispensing equipment and automation, or chemical/adhesive sales is preferred. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and their own transportation.
